American anti-gay evangelical calls Uganda "ground zero"

Lou Engle of the Kansas City-based TheCall Ministries traveled to Uganda to deliver a message of support to officials there who back anti-gay legislation pending in Parliament. The bill has been roundly condemned by the international community, but its supporters say they will not bow to "intimidation." "Today, America is losing its religious freedom. We are trying to restrain an agenda that is sweeping through the education system. Uganda has become ground zero," Engle told a rally.
