Facebook and Twitter have had a dramatic effect on Britain's general election, and a socially adept campaign has helped fuel the dramatic rise of third-party candidate Nick Clegg. Still, some things never change: Brits insist their voting choices are far more likely to be influenced by conversations in the pub than by chatter on social networks.
