Fed wants court to reconsider ruling on bailout disclosure

Attorneys for the Federal Reserve requested that a full appeals court consider a ruling that requires the central bank to identify companies that needed federal support to avoid collapse. "The decision is of exceptional importance," the Fed's lawyers wrote. "The real-world consequence of the panel's decision will be serious, perhaps irreparable harm to the institutional borrowers whose information will be revealed."
