Firm plans to relaunch Clear following $6 million bid

The assets of Verified Identity Pass have been sold for $6 million in federal bankruptcy proceedings, increasing the likelihood of a revived preferred traveler program. AlClear bought V.I.P.'s airport kiosks, customer database and other assets, though airport contracts were voided in bankruptcy court and must be renegotiated.
