Florida district to record teachers to determine best practices

Researchers will record teachers in Florida's Hillsborough County in the classroom as part of a two-year study to determine best practices for teaching. The sessions will be followed by surveys of teachers, students and parents to assess how effective the lessons were. About 725 district teachers will participate in the Measures of Effective Teaching Project, which has been funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
