Increased coffee output is predicted for Colombia

Colombia, which in 2009 posted its lowest coffee production in more than 30 years, is expecting output to climb to about 15 million 60-kg bags within five years. An official with the country's coffee federation said the increase will come from more productive crops, not from cultivation of additional areas.
