Nanosheets are called the "molecular plywood" of electronics

Ronald Zuckermann, a chemist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, led a team of scientists who discovered a sequence of amino acids that create the thinnest-known nanosheets -- structures he characterizes as "molecular plywood." Stanford University materials scientist Yi Cui called the development "surprising" and "a great advancement."
