SAS 70 the Next Generation: Planning for the New Service Organization Standards webcast


This session will help auditors better understand the changes recently made to the audit and attest standards related to service organizations. SAS 70, Service Organizations, has been replaced with two new standards: an auditing standard, Audit Considerations Relating to an Entity Using a Service Organization (AU 324), for CPAs auditing the financial statements of an entity that uses a service organization, and an attestation standard, SSAE 16, Reporting on Controls at a Service Organization (AT sec 801), for CPAs (service auditors) reporting on controls at a service organization that are relevant to financial reporting by user entities.
