Sustainability scorecard helps Kaiser go green

Kaiser Permanente now requires its vendors to fill out a sustainability scorecard for every product they supply, enabling the company to keep tabs on its supply chain's environmental impact. More importantly, writes SmartBrief on Sustainability lead editor Jennifer Hicks, Kaiser is now working with its rivals to roll out the scorecard program across the entire health sector, creating added incentive for suppliers to clean up their acts.
