Bills that would change CFPB will be considered by House panel

The House Financial Services Committee is set to vote on a few Republican-sponsored bills that would make changes to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which is scheduled to launch in July. Rep. Spencer Bachus, R-Ala., sponsored one bill, which would replace the director position at the CFPB with a five-member commission.
