FDA tightens rules on clinical investigator disqualification

The FDA has issued a final rule to stiffen regulations on disqualifying clinical researchers from medical device and drug studies. The revised rule, which will take effect May 30, is intended to make sure that clinical researchers who have been disqualified from conducting trials involving medical devices do not engage in research concerning drugs or vice versa.
