Free curriculum deals with federal budget and fiscal responsibility

The Teachers College, Columbia University in New York, has developed a free curriculum to teach high-school students about taxes and the federal budget. The curriculum includes 24 lesson plans in five subject areas -- economics, civics, U.S. history, world history and math. The lessons, which will be mailed to all high schools, will be available online.
