Israeli high-school students to earn college credits online

Beginning next year, some high-school students in Israel will enroll in online college courses through the Open University. The programme would allow about 1,000 students in grades 10, 11 and 12 to earn college credits while still in high school. However, the programme has been criticised by some who suggest it could lead to privatisation of education and that fees associated with the courses are unfair.
