Krafting Oreos for global tastes

Kraft Foods is altering the iconic chocolate and vanilla Oreo cookie for local taste to reap billions in sales abroad. Asia Pacific versions boast mango and green-tea fillings, while Argentines prefer dulce de leche and banana flavors, for example. Emerging markets already account for about half of the cookie's $2 billion sales, and Kraft Foods hopes to eventually generate a billion dollars from markets such as China alone.
