Report: Female bank execs earn less on average than male counterparts

Senior female executives at U.S. financial institutions received an average of $5.6 million in compensation during 2013, when their male counterparts were paid $7.2 million on average, according to an analysis by Fortune. Women accounted for only 11 of the 129 best-paid employees at the two dozen largest U.S. banks, according to Fortune.
