Coke, Pepsi debut mid-calorie colas at FMI Show

Grocery executives, restaurant owners and retail distributors attending the Food Marketing Institute Show in Chicago got to taste the reduced-sugar offerings coming from Coca-Cola and Pepsi this summer. Both drinks contain less high-fructose corn syrup, and both use Splenda artificial sweetener to help cut calories and carbohydrates to about half that of regular cola.
