GSK says cancer drug effective against more cervical cancer viruses

GlaxoSmithKline reported its cervical cancer vaccine Cervarix is effective against three more types of the virus that cause the cancer. The news follows GSK's recent announcement it acquired the U.S. firm that produces a key component of the vaccine, a move analysts say brings production in-house and avoids large royalty payments.
