California Episcopalians could elect gay bishop Saturday

Two gay men and one lesbian are among seven candidates to become the next bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of California. The election of a gay bishop there could reignite a worldwide firestorm over the issue of openly gay clergy and, according to one observer, amount to "tossing a bomb into a peace process."
