Testing experts a hot commodity in NCLB era

The No Child Left Behind Act and the growth of standardized tests in general has made psychometrics, the study of testing, one of the hottest jobs out there. Psychometricians can make up to $200,000 a year to share their expertise in developing, administering and scoring exams, and there is such demand for them that the U.S. government recruits from overseas.
