Convenient care clinics raise visibility of NPs

Convenient care clinics run by nurse practitioners are expanding to new areas across the U.S. and increasing the visibility of nurse practitioners. The clinics also allow NPs to take on management roles and "stretch their wings" by developing new programs, such as smoking cessation and cholesterol and heart disease screenings, an NP and RediClinic official said.
