New York municipal road construction may falter amid rising gas prices

While some New York municipalities are able increase their road construction budgets to reflect the soaring costs of fuel and oil, others will have to postpone road and bridge repairs. One positive development: the state increased funding to the Consolidated Highway Improvement Program by $51 million statewide.
