Commercial real estate lending eases

Commercial real estate lending by banks is still tightening but at a slower rate than the U.S. has seen for some time, according to new data from the Federal Reserve. In January, 80% of banks told the Fed they were getting more strict about making commercial real estate loans but that number dropped to 65% in April.
