Former Senate judiciary heads tapped for Souter replacement advice

President Barack Obama has not interviewed potential candidates to fill the Supreme Court vacancy that will result from the retirement of Justice David Souter. However, he has conferred with two former chairmen of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and Sen. Arlen Specter, D-Pa., for their expertise.
