South African stadium gets new composite roof

Workers are installing a new roof on Johannesburg's largest stadium. Designed by German engineering company Hightex, the roof comprises 60 panels of composite membranes. The panels vary in size up to 1,640 square feet. The stadium is scheduled to host the World Cup soccer championship in 2010.
