Stimulus funds push controversial Florida bridge forward

A proposed $128 million bridge in Stuart, Fla., has created controversy for the past two decades but will now get federal stimulus funds. Critics of the bridge say the two communities that it will connect are already well-served by an existing bridge. Supporters say the new bridge will ease congestion, create jobs and make it easier for residents to be evacuated during hurricanes.
