Calif. district rescues program for adults with disabilities

A California school district has agreed to continue a program that provides free courses for adults with disabilities, as the program had been facing closure. The Garden Grove Unified school district will employ the program's part-time teacher and aides, as well as provide space for classes and activities that allow adults with disabilities to learn skills and interact socially. "It is so important to these students, giving them continuity in their lives," one parent said.
