T-Mobile goes the extra mile to keep its Android phone unique

In an unusual move for a carrier, T-Mobile USA has retained a team of developers to ensure that its flagship HTC myTouch 3G phone -- an Android-powered device -- maintains a unique user interface, a practice usually reserved for phone makers. While carriers have built Web portals for their handsets, as well as smartphone applications, they have rarely gone T-Mobile's route to integrate three special features into its phone.
