New app helps monitor patients with heart conditions

A team of medical professionals from AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in New Jersey has designed a smartphone application for use by patients and their caregivers to monitor heart disease. The WOW ME 2000mg app links patients with health care providers and reminds them to stay active, take their medicine, monitor symptoms and fluid output, and limit sodium consumption.
