Patient communications at the point of care help ensure that the right message is getting to the right audience, says Matthew Fanelli, senior vice president of digital at MNI and Targeted Media Health. Millions of dollars have been wasted on nontargeted direct-to-consumer advertising, and point-of-care marketing drives specific doctor-patient conversations, says John Kenyon, vice president and managing director at Targeted Media Health. Mobile is the best currently available medium for POC communications, say both Kenyon and Fanelli.
