Teacher promotes her profession with #TeachingIs campaign

Teacher Julie Hiltz and a colleague are behind the #TeachingIs campaign, in which educators are encouraged to share their insights into the profession, so others can fully appreciate what educators do each day. In this blog post, Hiltz writes that the campaign already has revealed that teaching is complex, more than cliches and is a skill, rather than a natural talent. Teaching also is more than just human-interest stories and a profession that requires ongoing professional development, she writes.
