BIO's president says a Democratic Congress presents new possibilities for stem cell research funding but as a whole is less favorably inclined toward the biotechnology industry. James Greenwood, a former Republican congressman, says some of the top social issues currently facing the biotech industry are cost, access, stem cells and food products from cloned animals.
