FP&L seeks rate increase to pay for nuclear expansion

Florida Power & Light wants to raise monthly utility bills an average of $2 to finance expansion and construction of nuclear power plants. The Public Service Commission must approve the increase, which is intended to cover costs of expanding the Turkey Point and St. Lucie nuclear power stations and building new generators at Turkey Point.
