IAB sets new standards for video ads

The IAB has unveiled new standards for linear, non-linear and companion online video ads. The guidelines were developed by the IAB's Digital Video Committee, whose members include representatives from Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft and more than 140 other top media companies. "This is a historic day," said IAB President and CEO Randall Rothenberg, who compared the potential impact of their release to the advent of standards for banner ads a decade ago.
