Long Island airport runway to be repaved

The Federal Aviation Administration will spend $1.3 million to repave a crack-ridden runway at MacArthur Airport in Long Island, N.Y. The airport's Southwest Airlines terminal will also undergo construction, including asbestos removal and sprinkler installation. Cracked pavement outside the terminal will also be repaired.
