Survey finds more ER patients have insurance

A new survey finds hospital emergency room visits are up 26%, but more of those people seeking care have insurance. Researchers say the increase may be a result of a growing elderly population, an increase in medical treatments that must be performed in an emergency department and delays in scheduling an appointment with a private doctor.
