IAB's social-media metrics aim to add consistency

The IAB's new set of terms and metrics for social-media sites, blogs, widgets and social-media applications is likely to generate much talk in the industry, according to blogger Kate Kaye. The report is intended "to stimulate growth" by adding more consistency to metrics, the IAB writes in the introduction to "Social Media Ad Metrics Definitions."
