Letter: FCC tells court cross-ownership issues remains in limbo

The 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals should not remove the stay on the Federal Communications Commissions' changes to cross-ownership rules from December because the agency has yet to determine if the regulations should be modified, according to a letter to the court. But broadcasters contend the court lacks "a valid basis" to keep in place the stay, which they believe covers the FCC's 2003 modification of the cross-ownership rules.
