New Android app lets femtocell alter user interface

Phones running on the Android operating system that come into range of a femtocell can be set to automatically change their user interface under a new application designed to work with the small home base stations, according to femtocell maker Ubiquisys. The software will allow users to adjust a handset's icons depending on their location so that their UI could showcase video streaming at home and a set of enterprise-related features at work.
