Obama orders review of Constellation program, sources say

In a major policy shift, the White House now says it intends to review Bush administration plans for the next generation of manned spaceflight. According to reports, President Barack Obama wants a review of the Constellation program, including possible alternatives to the Ares 1 rocket and Orion crew capsule. An official announcement is expected Thursday, when the president unveils his $18.7 billion budget for NASA.
