Venus Remedies gains DCGI approval for trials on molecule

Venus Remedies has received clearance from the Drugs Controller General of India to undertake Phase I clinical trials for VRP 1620, a molecule administered through injection that can be used to diagnose solid tumors in humans. If used with PET/CT, the drug might help pinpoint cancer stage and aid oncologists in determining the right course of therapy and monitoring treatment progress.
