BP to "box in" oil leak as well-repair efforts falter

Unable to plug the oil leak in the Gulf, BP plans to box it in. The energy company will try to place a 98-ton steel box four stories tall over the gushing well in an effort to contain the oil. Oil in the "containment dome" will then be funneled to a drill ship. "This is new technology," said Bob Fryar, a senior vice president at BP. "It has never been done before."
