Mega-merger could set up a battle among unions

A merger between United Airlines and Continental Airlines could set up conflicts among some of the airline industry's biggest unions -- Machinists, Teamsters and Flight Attendants -- because they represent similar work groups at the two airlines. Unlike the Delta Air Lines merger, when unions fought management, this time they may end up battling one another.
