Wikis, blogging become part of district's classroom instruction

Teachers in a Pittsburgh-area school district are using wiki pages, Moodle and blogging in the classroom, thanks to a technology coach hired four years ago who is training them in the new tools. "Many students are already well-versed in using the Internet and other computer software, most before they reach middle school," technology coach Roger Crider said. "This will better help teachers engage them in and out of the classroom."
