Restaurants see financial benefits to going green

Implementing environmentally friendly technology and practices -- including LED lighting, energy-efficient appliances and recycling programs -- is a proven way to help restaurants cut costs, said Chris Moyer of the National Restaurant Association's Conserve Sustainability Education Program. "We try to show them that it's not just good for the environment, it's good for the bottom line."
