The loss of MillerCoors has left Draftfcb's Chicago office analyzing its problems and pondering its future. The flagship office has also lost SC Johnson, Kraft Foods and State Farm's broadcast business. Some industry insiders blame the agency's transition to a fully integrated shop at the expense of creative excellence, while others disagree that performance had much to do with it. But CEO and President Laurence Boschetto argues the departures were the result of accounts reaching the end of their "lifespan with an agency."
