FDA OKs J&J's sedation device used during colonoscopies

Johnson & Johnson has gained FDA approval for its Sedasys device, which is used to sedate patients undergoing colonoscopies. The device, which is targeted for a limited release next year, allows patients to be injected with propofol without the need for a doctor to monitor the administration of the sedation agent.
