NBA, Viggle engage playoff fans via second screen

The NBA is teaming with Viggle to offer a second-screen experience to promote live viewing of the league's second round of playoffs on ESPN and TNT. Mobile users who engage with Viggle during the games earn more bonus points the longer they engage. "This is not about moving people away from time-delay devices. It's about getting fans to watch games they might not ordinarily tune into," said Melissa Brenner, the NBA's senior vice president of marketing.
