Study: Organic shoppers OK with functional claims

A study published in Food Quality and Preference finds functional claims do not deter shoppers from purchasing organic foods, despite concerns that such claims mean the food is "not natural." The research looked at yogurt, muesli and spaghetti, and found functional claims elicited positive reactions from shoppers.
