Associations seek full stay on conflict mineral disclosure rule

The Business Roundtable, U.S. Chamber of Commerce and National Association of Manufacturers are asking the U.S. Appeals Court for the District of Columbia Circuit for a full stay of the conflict minerals disclosure rule by May 26. This request follows the Securities and Exchange Commission's partial stay of the rule last week. The three organizations argue that without the main disclosure requirement, the rule makes little sense to impose.
