Campaign seeks to improve India's image as exporter of meds

Two top officials in India announced on Tuesday a campaign to restore the country's standing as a supplier of low-priced but high-quality drugs. The charm offensive comes after bans have been imposed on several suppliers by the U.S. FDA. "The U.S. is the biggest market for us. We are dealing with a lot of care. We want to fight these issues head on," Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council Chairman Ashutosh Gupta said.
